He was predeceased by: his parents, Alger Lapham and Ruth Wernette Lapham; his former wife Elva Lea; his daughter Angela; and his siblings, Larry, Sandra Lapham, Virginia Krabbenhoft (John) and Lorena Szumski.
He is survived by: his wife Zita; his children, Tim Lapham (Jackie Kammezell) of Clare, Sue Lapham of Clare, Mary Hales (Mike) of Farwell, Beth Elinski (Randy) of Jackson, MI and Lisa Thorburn (Steve) of Morrisville, NC; his grandchildren, Jason, Heather (Chris), Adam (Melody), Brian (Morgan), Jordan (Nasim), Trevor (Emma), Meagan and Adriane; his great grandchildren, Jacob, James, Jaelee, Jaxon, McKayla, Ryann, Brianna and Lily; his siblings, Darcy Lapham, Clair Lapham (Margaret), Dave Lapham (Sue), Rita Poston and Jean Cauwenbergh (Ron); and his siblings-in-law, Ray Szumski and Nancy Lapham. He is also survived by his six children, his children's spouses, his eight grandchildren and their spouses, his eight great-grandchildren.
