He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Miles Griffith and Estelle Griffith (Spencer); his wife Wilma Morris; his sons, Larry Tharp (Kelly) of Maggie Valley, David Tharp (Karen) of South Lyon and Daniel Tharp (Kelly) of Peoria, Illinois; his sister Dora Harmon of Melber, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Amy, Scott, Miles, Shauna, Jessica and D. J.. He was also cherished by 13 great grandchildren.
