She was predeceased by: her parents, George Colton and Nellie Colton (Scott); her daughter Marguerite Forsberg; and her siblings, Clifford, Lewis, Lloyd, Jennette and Barbara.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Brown Jr.; her daughter Dawn Scheall (Dale); her son-in-law David Forsberg; her grandchildren, Steven Forsberg (Ashley), Cody Forsberg, Alex Forsberg (Mallory Reaves) and Marguerite Kay Deary (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Lily Forsberg and Oliver Forsberg; and her siblings, Dale Colton (MaryAnn), Pauline Eberhardt (Bob), Geraldine Shoesmith and Michael Colton (Donna).
The family will receive visitors from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. with a dinner planned at the Clare Congregational United Church of Christ from 5 to 7 P.M. Memorial contributions at suggested to MidMichigan Home Care and Hospice or to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail Fund.
