It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn S. Smerdon (Clare, Michigan), who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Smerdon and Louise Smerdon (Fitch); and her siblings, Diane Espinoza, Karen Smerdon and Larry Smerdon.
She is survived by: her sons, Travis Smerdon of Lima, OH and Jed McConnell (Megan) of Clare, MI.; the fathers of children, Preston Dinkle (Beth) of Geneva, NY and Mark McConnell (Diane) of Clare, MI; and her friend Marilyn Burkeem (Brad) of Milan, MI.. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that all donations be made in her name to the Dalis to the rescue animal rescue in Alma, MI.
