She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold and Sadie Clute (Penrose); her former husband Wilbur "Bill" Weldon; her son Duane Melnek (Wilbur); her sisters, Lorraine and Yvonne; and her stepsister Cora.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Melnek of Clare and Deanna Rakestraw (Scott) of Dearborn; her stepchildren, Beverly Magnus, Sandra Bay, Susan German, Karen Magnus, William Weldon and James Weldon; and her stepsister Rachel. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, step grand and great grandchildren.
