He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Benmark and Beatrice Benmark (Bowers); his wife Ann Shively (Elden); and his daughter Janet Rose. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Becky Erickson (Jon) of Ludington and Michelle Bott (Craig) of Clare; his stepgrandchildren, Stephen Bott (Ali Gottschalk) of Colorado and Kelsey Krogman (Brie) of Oregon; and his brother Manley Benmark of Florida.
