He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Gray and Josephine Gray (Smalec); and his siblings, Virginia Miller and William Gray. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Gray of Clare; his children, James Gray III (Eve) of Mason, MI., Mark Gray (Pamela) of Grand Ledge, MI. and Heather Garcia (Felix) of Lansing, MI.; his stepchildren, Carrie Baker (Dave) of Clare and Terry Cook (Charlene) of Clare; his sister Cynndy Majdeski of Zephyrhills, FL.; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Justen, Jessica, Katelyn, Aaron, Morgan, Devin, Anthony, Kayla, Jonathan, Lauren, Jace and Caitlyn; and his former wife Karen Burghdoff. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
