He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Hamilton and Sarah Hamilton; his son Todd Hamilton; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond McCurdy and Veronica Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Christina of Clare County; his children, Tim Hamilton (Clarinda) of Dayton, OH. and Miel Good (Benjamen) of Clare County; his grandchildren, Ryan, Todd, Jared, Grant, Jacob, David, Olivia, Ella and Avry; and his siblings, Priscilla Cipolletti (John), Sandy Drija (John), Pat Cassar (Dave), Emma Steve (Mike), Linda Hamilton, Marsha Phillips (Craig) and Thomas Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, the Hamilton requests that memorial contributions in honor of James be directed toward Camp Living Waters.
