He was predeceased by: his spouse Betty Jean Sowle (Foreman); and his sister Beverly Sowle. He is survived by: his children, Gail F. Sowle, Jr. (Mary) of Farwell and Janet Sowle of Clare; his grandchildren, Gail Sowle (Lana) of Midland, Allen Sowle (Tami) of Midland, James Sowle (Kathy) of Kentucky, Don Wilds (Keeli) of Clare, Randy Sowle of Farwell and Tasha Sowle of Midland; and his siblings, Lee Sowle (Margaret) of Owosso, Neil Sowle and Maxine Fishel. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandsons.
