Catherine A. Wilson Obituary
We bid farewell to Catherine A. Wilson of Clare, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 88. Catherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Schumaker and Cecilia Schumaker (Hesse); her husband Paul S. Wilson; her siblings, Eugene Schumaker (Mary), Lucille Connell (David), Lawrence Schumaker, James Schumaker (Delores), Elizabeth Michaelis, Raymond Schumaker (Barbara) and William Schumaker; her son-in-law Dennis Denhard; her granddaughter Haley Wilson; and her great grandchild Trevor Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Marhofer (Jay) of Stockbridge, MI, Eileen Denhard of Howell, MI, Douglas Wilson (Janette Henderson) of East Jordan, MI, Charlene Merritt (Don) of Lake, MI and Marlene McKay (Ken Ingraham) of Farwell, MI.; her siblings, Lorain Schumaker (El Dana), Mary C. Wehner (Francis) and Robert Schumaker (Judy); and her siblings-in-law, Eugene Michaelis and Mary Schumaker. She is also survived by her children, 11 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Parish (110 E Wheaton Ave, Clare, MI 48617). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
