With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl R. Athey of Clare, Michigan, who passed away on February 24, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Athey and Rosella Athey (Spicer); his wife Betty Athey (Hutchinson); his siblings, Dale, Fern, Harold, Lloyd, Ellen, Rose, Paul, Ralph, Edna and Ilo; his son Richard Athey; and his grandson William Athey (Billy).
He is survived by: his children, Carlyle Athey (Ann) of Clare, Connie Beauvais (Bob) of Maine, Bill Athey (Karen) of New York and Rhonda Troutman (Tony) of Kansas; his grandchildren, Stacy, Michelle, Heather, Justin, Kenny, Emily, Melissa, Kim, Brandon and Caleb; his sister Violet; and his sister-in-law Emma.
