Though Alan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Veen and Freda Veen; his wife Wanetta Veen; and his sister Frances McCormack. He is survived by: his girlfriend Donna Reed of Sanford; his stepchildren, Kenitha Severn of Clare, Mike Koontz (Michael) of Harrison and Tim Koontz (Becky) of Clare; and his grandchildren, Christopher Koontz, Julie Wilkinson (Matt), Jill Severn, Krystal Romatz (Luc) and Kerry Romatz (Nic). He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many family and friends.
