With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raul Barragan Luna of Chippewa Lake, Michigan, born in Crystal City, Texas, who passed away on January 26, 2022 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Luna and Julia Barragan Luna; his daughter Natalia Andrews; his great grandchild Austin Reichert; and his siblings, Refugio, Roberto Luna and Dolores Zagun.
He is survived by: his wife Mercedes Cruz Luna; his children, Virginia Day (Randy), Arthur Luna (Lou Anne), Linda Bongiovanni (Dean), Julia Tucker (Paul) and Teresa Luna; his son-in-law Don Andrews; his grandchildren, Donald Lee Andrews, Jeremy Andrews, Jennie Reichert, Arthur Luna Jr., Michael Luna, Christina Koetsier, Eric Luna, Elijah Luna, Aundrea Bongiovanni, Joshua Lambka and Chantel Jones; and his siblings, Manuel Luna (Benigna), Mario Luna (Irma), Maria Rice, Yolanda Zavala and Modesta Whitworth (Wes). He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
