He was predeceased by: his father Fred Murray; his brothers, James Murray and Gary Murray; his brothers-in-law, Leroy Colett and El Jukuri; and his close friend Bill Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn A. Miller; his children, Kimberly Murray, Rebecca Billmeyer (Daniel), Robert Murray Jr. (Kim), Todd Murray (Amy) and Aaron Murray (Cindy); and his siblings, Nita Jukuri, Carol Colett, Paul Murray (Penny) and Gordon Murray. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
