He was predeceased by: his parents, Riccardo Malone and Carmela Malone; and his sister Nathleen "Dolly" Malone. He is survived by: his spouse Aretta "Babe" Klein; his sons, Randy Malone (Andrea), Ron Malone (Lana) and Rodney Malone (Dale); his grandchildren, Nicci LaDue (Matt), Dylan Malone (Ericka), Conner and Logan Malone; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Aaron LaDue and Jaxon Malone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, American Cancer Society or McLaren Health Management Group (Hospice).
