She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cowan and Lillian Cowan (Phillips); and her siblings, William Cowan, Janette Wyatt, Jean Cowan, Stan Cowan and Brub Cowan.
She is survived by: her spouse Fred; her sons, William Wesley (Linda) of East Lansing, Richard Wesley (Patricia) of Hudsonville, James Wesley (Lisa) of Lake Orion and Jeffery Wesley (Jody) of Okemos; her grandchildren, Megan Brickner (Matt), Lauren Lund (Brian), Charles Wesley (Rachel), Caroline Wesley, Kyle Wesley, Alyssa Wesley, Connor Wesley, Emily Wesley and Erin Wesley; her great grandchildren, Emmett Brickner, Anna Brickner, Alyse Lund and Jase Lund; her sisters, Kathleen Shooltz of Oxford and Alice Alderson of Rochester; and her siblings-in-law, Joseph Wesley and Marge Cowan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Charitable donations given in memory of Winnie may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
