With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert R. Rhode of Chesaning, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 14, 2021 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert R. Rhode to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Rhode and Dorothy Rhode (Esch); his granddaughter Maddie Trimper; and his sister Joyce Baumann. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Lomerson; his daughters, Jill Rhode, Lansing, Joanne Rhode of Mt. Pleasant, Jane Trimper (Jeff) of Stanton and Sally Carroll (Bill) of Williamston; and his grandchildren, Max Trimper, Mark Carroll, Sam Trimper, Grace Carroll and Jackson Carroll. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Contributions in his memory may be made to Pediatric Leukodystrophy Research Fund Joanne Kurtzberg, MD Director, Marcus Center for Cellular Cures at Duke University, PBMT Program 2400 Pratt Street, Room 9026 Durham, NC 27705.
