He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Gauna and Carolina Gauna (Hurtado). He is survived by: his wife Jodi Krizan; his children, Jacob Fish of Bridgeport, Bobby Fish of Saginaw, Shantle Fox, Schayna Peterson (Chris Mohnk) of Chesaning, Mike Peterson (Hannah) of Chesaning and Jake Ginderske of Saginaw; his grandchildren, Tyler Fox and Sophia "Punky" Peterson; his siblings, Chris Gauna (Tom Podorsky), Carol Escamilla (Matias), Juanita Allen (Jeff Tame), Inez Gauna (Christopher Martin), Bennita Wilder (Mark), Alicia Studer (Larry), John Gauna (Cheryl), Calistro Gauna (Dana), David Gauna (Tina Robertson), Leandra Birchmeier (Fred), Gloria Gauna Escamilla (Dave Binder) and Tony Gauna (Kathy Suarez); and his close friends, Terry, Frances Kukulis, Randy, Mary Lou Mohnk, Laverne Gross, Don Eickholt, Becky and Dean Kramer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Following Covid-19 guidelines, masks must be worn, and social distancing practiced at the funeral home.
