He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Boetcher and Norma Boetcher; and his sister Esther Illner. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Siazik; his children, Renee Herbers (Mark) and Michael Boetcher (Shelley); and his sisters, Ruth Boetcher and Loeta Hersch (Jack).

Memorials may be made to Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church or Saginaw County Humane Society.
