She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Godfry and Lea Marie Godfry (Selfridge); her husband James Sleeseman Sr.; her daughter Cheryl Lynn Zervan; her granddaughter Natalee Sleeseman; and her sister Evelyn Priest.
She is survived by: her children, James Sleeseman Jr. of Chesaning and Shelly Kuchar (Tom) of Oakley; her son-in-law Steve Zervan of Burt; her siblings, Russell "Tom" Godfrey (Charlotte) of Chesaning, Patricia Fondren of Oakley and Elsie Godfrey of Corunna; and her half-siblings, Edward Godfrey of Houghton Lake and Penny Godfrey of Houghton Lake. She is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
