It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen E. Mahoney of Chesaning, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Schipper and Beatrice Schipper (Burgess); her husband Patrick J. Mahoney; and her siblings, Paula Stennet and Joel Leis.

She is survived by: her children, Charleen Mahoney of Harrison, Denise Mahoney (John Cowman) of Ann Arbor and Patrick Mahoney of Chesaning; and her siblings, Constance Honeychurch, Louis Schipper (Shirley) of St. Charles and Suzanne Louch of Chapin. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
