We bid farewell to Jim Gasper of Chesaning, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 19, 2024 at the age of 89. Jim touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gasper and Edith Gasper (Eisenhower); and his siblings, Charles, Arthur, Cletus, Harold, Leonard, Richard, Robert Gasper, Edna Krupp, Erma Polash, Betty Gasper, Ellen Bishop and Mary Lou Gasper.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Gasper; his children, Bruce Gasper (Carol), Connie Whelpley (Pat) and Jerry Gasper (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Alex, Breana, Kelsey, Bryce, Grace Gasper, Elizabeth and Christine Whelpley. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A vigil service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Mcgeehan Funeral Homes - Martin Chapel (316 W Broad St, Chesaning, MI 48616). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Michael Catholic Church of Maple Grove (17994 Lincoln Rd, New Lothrop, MI 48460). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
