It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Arthur Schmiege (Chesaning, Michigan), who passed away on June 15, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Arvalla Schmiege; his great grandchild Pierce Tomac; and his siblings, Arthur Schmiege, Amelia Engel and Evelyn Simon.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pennie Tomac (Frank) and Debbie Schmiege; his grandchildren, Chris Tomac (Elizabeth), Steven Tomac (Lisa), Aaron Tomac and Bryce Tomac; his great grandchildren, Cody, Jacob, Emily Galloway, Sterling, Lilly and Rexford Tomac; and his brothers, Lloyd Schmiege and Leonard Schmiege. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
