She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Gewirtz; and her siblings, Yvonne (Erwin Angst), Floyd Nietling, Arthur Neitling, Carol (Vern Mayhew) and Janice (Bob Cody).
She is survived by: her children, David Gewirtz (Diane) of Chesaning, Jane Henige (Andy) of Chesaning and Jennifer Kimball (Lenard) of Grayling; her grandchildren, Stephanie Ashby (Gary), Sarah Gewirtz, Jonathon Gewirtz (Lauren), Zachary Henige, Melissa Henige, Annah Henige (Ross Warren), Linley Elton, Jay Elton, Bree Cooper and Olivia Cooper; and her sisters-in-law, Geneva Nietling, Rose Mary Nietling and Barb Nietling. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
