With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Arlene E. McDougall of Chesaning, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gross and Elizabeth Gross (Constine); her siblings, Harold Gross (Bernarda), Duane Gross (Dot), Don Gross (Ann), Jim Gross (Bertha), Robert Gross, Catherine Gasser (Harold) and Rita Cudney (Milan); and her daughter-in-law Becky McDougall.
She is survived by: her husband Richard McDougall; and her children, Richard K. McDougall (Loretta McLaughlin) of Chesaning, Deb Hafner (Don) of St. Charles, Diane LaVigne (David) of Traverse City, Cherrie Giesken (Doug) of Prudenville, Sandy Kunik (Dave) of St. Charles, Jeff McDougall (Ryann) of Chesaning and Kelly McDougall (Lisa) of Interlochen. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Misiuk Funeral Home (202 S Front St, Chesaning, MI 48616). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Parish Catholic Church (404 S Wood St., Chesaning, MI 48616).
Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
