Mayer (Chelsea, Michigan), born in Three Rivers, Michigan, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Mayer and Lucile Mayer (Collyer); his wife Linda L. Weiandt (Weidemier); his sons, David Mayer (Kim) of Ypsilanti and Timothy Mayer (Amy) of Galion, OH; his stepson Jay Wickre of Hill City, SD; his sisters, Donna Elder (Ed) and Diane Butler; his grandchildren, Julia, Gloria, Melody, Grant, Nathan, Elliot, Joe, Katie, Michael, Addie, Elli, Grace and Emma; his stepgrandchildren, Leah Wytosick, Kaylin Wickre, Jayson Wickre, Andrew Wickre, Yolanda Elrod and Carrie Angulo; and his brother Roger. He was also cherished by 6 step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, to establish a music scholarship fund, or the Parkinson's Foundation.
