He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent I. Burg and Mary A. Burg (Spirnagle); and his sisters, Mary Jane Lanning-Morey, Lou Guirey, Angeline Foster, Gretchen Spaulding and Virginia Rowe.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Gregg Burg (Laurie), Diane Nieves (Fernando), David Burg, Brian Burg, Kristi Ragland (Gary) and Rob Burg; his grandchildren, Arielle, Jacob Burg, Ana (Bree) and Katherine Nieves (Katie); and his sister Pat Dietz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
