We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2024, at the age of 72, Vickie B. Kern of Chelsea, Michigan, born in Jackson, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie F. Sowards and Vernese Sowards (Holland). She is survived by: her husband Tom; her children, Kevin Kern (Jill) of Chelsea, Garrett Kern (Jennifer) of Grass Lake, Becky Burchett (Harold) and Heather Kern (Frank Kornexl) of Chelsea; and her siblings, Michael Sowards (Debbie) of Florida, Brad Sowards (Stephanie) of Virginia and Jill Harkness of Grand Rapids. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Chelsea Community Fair.
