She is survived by: her mother Maxine Simmons (Kemp) of Ann Arbor; her children, Kelly Thayer of Ann Arbor and Philip Thayer (Heather) of Grass Lake; her grandchildren, Abigail and Mikey; and her siblings, Sharon Frost (Robert) of Petoskey, David Simmons (Marianne) of Jackson and Daniel Simmons of Dexter.
