He is survived by: his father Edward Robert; his children, Nicholas Donovan Baltzell of Ann Arbor and Lorelai Jean Houk of Saline; his siblings, Todd Hamel of Chelsea and Laurie Schiller (Troy) of Chelsea; his stepsiblings, Kevin Koch (Sharon) of Ann Arbor, Jason Koch, Jennifer Groves (Doug) of Grass Lake and Julie Holtz (Riley) of Adrian; and his close friend Heidi Boyer. He is also survived by 3 nephews; 6 great-nieces & nephews.
