He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A. Shaneyfelt and Anna E. Shaneyfelt (Bauer); his wife Nadine (Underwood); his siblings, Betty Shaneyfelt, Russell Shaneyfelt and Robert Shaneyfelt; his stepchildren, Gary Dean Wright and Shari Wright; and the mother of his children Patricia L. Vitale (Badour).
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Johnson (Allen) of Ann Arbor and Beth Ann Renner (David) of Manchester; and his stepchildren, Colette Luckhardt (Russell) of Gregory, Brian Wright (Vicki) of South Carolina, Dana Wright (Geneva) of South Carolina and Van Wright (April) of Tecumseh. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
