He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Miles and Faye Johnston (Corley); his wife Mary Ann Mannlein; his children, Peggy A. Tripp of Virginia Beach, VA, Karen M. Johnston (Anderson Brown) of Ann Arbor, Diane L. Wilson of Howell, James N. Johnston (Deborah) of Ft. Myers, FL, Kenneth A. Johnston (Violet) of Millersburg, MI, Catherine M. Jackson (James) of Ypsilanti and David L. Johnston (Theresa Street) of Norfolk, VA; and his sister Marjorie C. Kosch. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
