He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lionel Fendt and Elsie Fendt (Rutenbar); his brother Roger Fendt (Kathleen) of Eastport, MI.; his spouse Jean (McLeish) of Livonia; his children, Sandra A. Shrope (Rick) of Cody, WY, Alan D. Fendt (Sharon) of Dexter, MI and Terri J. Schuster (Eric) of Waterford, MI.; and his grandchildren, Brook Schuster, Nikole Bierman, Samantha Davidson, Matthew Fendt, Steven Fendt, James Schuster and Jessica Newberger.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (9575 N Territorial Rd, Dexter, MI 48130).
