He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight H. Laraway and Ida Mae Laraway (Thurston); the mother of his children Noel; and his brothers, Bill, Guy, Norman, Harold and Leo.
He is survived by: his children, Patti Schick (John) of Chelsea, Pam Dietz of Grass Lake and John Laraway, Jr. (Rose) of Howell; his grandchildren, Sarah Sherwood (Marty), Jay Schick (Mindy), Margaret Schick, John "JT" Laraway, Gary Sabin (Amanda), Linda Bowen (Chris), Jacob Laraway (Aubrey Furlong) and Sean Sabin; his great grandchildren, Drew, Ashley, Addison, Reese, Hank, Natalie, Norell, Noden, Grayson, Ben and Zayden; and his brothers, Carl, Hascal and Ivy. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
