He was predeceased by: his parents, David George and Genevieve "Genny" E. Poppenger (Richard); his brother Douglas Poppenger; and his brother-in-law David Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Diana Lynn Lawrence; and his sisters, Cheryl Lavender (Gary) of Albuquerque and Jane Poppenger (Steve Vogel) of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
