He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard C. Prough and Vivian H. Prough Jr. (Wilson); his granddaughter Ashley Kolman; and his great grandchild Brayden Pattenaude. He is survived by: his wife Carolynn (King); his children, Howard R. "Bud" Prough, Jr. (Pam) of Westland, Robert "Bob" Prough (Tracie) of Westland and Theresa Kolman (Roy) of Chelsea; and his brother Bill Prough (Beverly) of Novi. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
