It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Whitaker (Chelsea, Michigan), born in Plainwell, Michigan, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cecil Whitaker and Etoyla Whitaker (Fitzpatrick); his wife Esther L. (Klink); his children, Tammy Kies (David) of Waterloo Twp and Todd Whitaker (Chrissy) of Waterloo Twp; his grandchildren, Devon Kies (Ronni), Samantha Helmbrecht (Corbin), Trevor Kies, Mikayla Kies, Ethan Whitaker and Eric Whitaker (Mikayla); his great grandchildren, Harper, Briar, Brooks and Emilia; and his brothers, Danny Whitaker of Royalton, KY., Jerry Whitaker and Shayne Whitaker.
