He is survived by: his mother Regina; his former wife Alisa; his wife Gerane; his stepchildren, Catherine Benamou, Marc Benamou (Raúl Ianes), Daniel Weinreich (Wendy Nelson), Rebecca Weinreich (Tara Rose Weinreich) and Natalie Benamou Scotti (Sergio Scotti); and his grandchildren, Stephen, Shoshanah, Ashira Weinreich, Thomas Wilson, Arianna, Valentina Scotti, Aiyana and Emma Lao.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Arbor Hospice, Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice, or Jewish Family Services.
