He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Cooley and Edith Esther Cooley (Hookway). He is survived by: his children, Brett Upton Cooley (Leah) of Lincoln Park and Jeannette Lynn Paul (Scott) of San Francisco, California; his sister Janyth Akers (John) of Pawley's Island; his grandchildren, Ian Cooley of North Hollywood and Kattarina Cooley-Petty (Austin) of Janesville, Wisconsin; and his great grandchild Olive. He is also survived by three nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chelsea Retirement Community Chapel (805 W Middle St, Chelsea, MI 48118).
