With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick Lee Barkley of Chelsea, Michigan, born in Covington, Indiana, who passed away on May 23, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Barkley and Mildred Barkley (Small); and his brothers, Dale and Charles Barkley. He is survived by: his wife Judith Major; his children, Patrick Barkley (Jeanne) of Downers Grove, IL and Kelly Barkley of Grass Lake; his grandchildren, Trevor Asperger (Olivia) of Grass Lake, Jalen Asperger (Courtney Garner) of Phoenix, AZ and Matthew Elliott of Grass Lake; his great grandchild Sophie Jane Layher; and his siblings, Michael Barkley (Brenda) and Barbara Styers (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
