He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Wayne and Rose Cornelia Hofmeister (Talbot); his wife Martha J. Shanklin; and his son Steven Hofmeister. He is survived by: his daughters, Janice Hofmeister and Ann Hess (James); his grandsons, Mitchell Hofmeister (Carrie) and Roman Hofmeister (Rachel Blanchard); his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Ryder and Raiden; and his nieces, Pat and Terry.
