Ernest Hopkins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Hopkins of Chelsea, Michigan, who passed away on August 26, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest J. and Edna Hopkins, Sr. (Dixon); his children, Larry Hopkins (Pamala) of Macomb, IL and Janis Knieper (Rod) of Munith, MI; his grandchildren, Jana Ford (Wayland), Kevin Myers (Courtney Pettit), Andrea Holovach (Chad), Robert Knieper (Lindsay) and Sharon Knieper (Adam Hoopengardner); and his great grandchildren, Paetyn Ford, Tanner Ford (Blakeley Lincoln), Terry Wayne Myers III, Dylan Senecal, Megan Clark, Carter Holovach, Charlie Holovach and Elliott Knieper.
The church is following current CDC recommendations during the COVID-19 pandemic, and those in attendance will be instructed accordingly; masks must be worn and social distance maintained. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the North Lake United Methodist Church, the Silver Lining Fund of Silver Maples Retirement Community, or the Arbor Hospice Foundation.
