He was predeceased by: his parents, Hudson T. Morton and Ethelyn Servis Morton; his siblings, Hudson Morton, III and Martha Burton; and his son Douglas C. Morton.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, David H. Morton of Ann Arbor, Daniel J. Morton (Deborah) of Buffalo Grove, William H. Morton (Ruth) of Bloomington and Wendy Kratzer (Shannon) of Austin; and his daughter-in-law Cindy Morton of Thornton, CO. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
