He was predeceased by: his parents, George (Rolene Hager) and David; his siblings, Madonna Jacobs, Richard Hager, Elaine Lowney and Daniel Hager; and his brother-in-law Dennis Peck.
He is survived by: his wife Gerri (Gerri); his children, Jeffrey (Rebecca) of Holt, Charles (Christine) of Napoleon and Renee Atkinson (Wayne) of Longview, TX.; his grandchildren, Kyle (Cori), Jason, Kathleen Hager (Alex Marlin), Chloe Hager, Daniel Johnson (Jaclyn), Sean Atkinson, Nolan, Evan Greisinger, Tyler Piotrowski (Kayla), Matthew (Danielle) and Michael Atkinson; his great grandchildren, Naomi, Olivia, Grayson, Zoie and Kaden; his siblings, Jeanette Ragatz of College Station, TX and Alan Hager of Munith; his brother-in-law Gary Peck (Marlene) of Cleveland, SC; and his close friend Gerald Williams (Mary) of Chelsea.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to one of two non-profit organizations that were dear to David: Wounded Warrior Project (https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
