He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Leroy and Mary Margaret Skelton (Kanagy); his sons, Bryndon Skelton (Holly), Colby Skelton (Charlotte) and Rourke Skelton; his significant other Kathy Gunderson; his significant other's sons, Gavin and Ben Gunderson; his grandchildren, Schuler, Brier, Sommer, Mia and Caden; his sister Sandy Piepho (Stuart Wills); and his nephews, Matt and Ted.
