As Carrie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carrie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carrie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Notten and Gladys Mae Notten (Sluyter); and her siblings, Albert, Marjorie York and Marie Bryant.
She is survived by: her sister Evelyn Presnell; her sister-in-law Delores Notten; and her close friend Cheryl Holliway. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Covenant Church in Chelsea or the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
