He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Patterson (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Belinda Kanclerz Chandler; his siblings, Ann Raden (Lou), Doug Patterson (Ruby) and David Patterson (Cindy); and his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Lexi, Danielle, Tyler, Allen and Ryan.
Brad was a proud Michigan State University alumni and had a long successful career fundraising including serving as the President of the Iowa Community Foundation as well as the Vice President of Development at the Salvation Army.
