He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Amen and Beatrice Amen (Randolph). He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Tenson (Nick) of Effingham and Steven Amen (Kathy) of California; his nieces, Audrey Tipper (Nick) of St. Johns, Anne Woods of Los Angeles and Tory Tensen of Effingham; his nephew Nikolas Tenson of Effingham; and his great-niece Linnea Tipper of St. Johns.
