With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Ruth Raymond of Cheboygan, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Johnston and Ruth Johnston; her husband Melvyn Raymond; and her brother Carl Johnston Jr. (Bruce McEnroe). She is survived by: her children, Kevin Raymond (Sheila) and Lisa Raymond; her grandchildren, Nicholas Schrader (Sarah), Chase Tabor, Melissa Koenig (John) and Ashley Hauff (Chris); her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Londyn, Jacob, Riley, Lillian and Cecelia; her sister Barbara Dean; her nieces and nephews, Patrick Raymond (Renee), Bobby Raymond (Donna), Jim Raymond, Diane Kopriva, Rebecca Dean and Craig Johnston; and her close friend Dave Zyjewski.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Milford (404 E Liberty St, Milford Charter Twp, MI 48381). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Highland Cemetery (561 N Milford Rd, Highland, MI 48357).
