He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Ostwald and Dorothy Perkins; his wife Elaine LaHaie; his son Rodney Ostwald; his siblings, Theora Murray, Jack Ostwald, Emma Benoit, Evelyn Ostwald and Virginia Quattrociocchi; and his parents-in-law, Bob Sova, Benny Quattrociocchi, Dick Benoit, David Gouine, Rolland LaHaie, Jr., Kathleen Greenless, John LaHaie, Jerome LaHaie, Fred LaHaie and Nicholas LaHaie.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Ostwald (Wendy), Terry Ostwald (Tammy) and Rhonda Ingalsbe (Ken); his grandchildren, Serena Quade (Mike), Adam Ostwald (Jennifer), Halaina Ostwald-Nugent (Ken), Frank Ostwald, Sara Ostwald, Michael Ostwald (Veronica), Lauren Ostwald (Dan), Terrence Ingalsbe (Heather), Hope Ingalsbe (Travis), Hannah Ingalsbe, Olivia Ingalsbe (Dakota), Jack Ingalsbe and Max Ingalsbe; his great grandchildren, Christopher Quade, Leah Quade, Kolton Quade, Owen Ostwald-Hatten, Willow Nugent, Michelle Ostwald, Oliver Ingalsbe and Kaspen Ingalsbe; his siblings, Noreen Sova, Lena Gouine, Carol Geyer (Harry) and Daniel Ostwald; his parents-in-law, John Murray, Judy LaHaie, Marcia LaHaie, JoAnne LaHaie, JoAnne Ostwald, Sherry LaHaie, Ron LaHaie, Mary Jo Powell and Peg Stevens; his sister Anne Marie LaHaie; and his pet Cricket. He is also survived by his pet dogs, but most importantly, his grandkids.
